Barzan Ali Pirot is a lecturer at University of Raparin/College of Basic Education, Department of Kurdish Language. He is currently the head of Kurdish language department.

Philosophy of Teaching

I believe that university is a center which is special place compared to the other learning situations. Accordingly, this status should be preserved by students and should be developed and enhanced. My vision of teaching and learning thus is as follows:
1. to shift the learning and teaching method from the old traditional type of teaching to the newly implemented, tested learning and teaching approach.
2. to enhance teaching by using the most recent resources and references which are needed for that purpose.
3. to avoid mixing university ideology with those of the religious, sociology, feminist secular ideologies.
4. to create graduates who have gained knowledge of the recent inventions and technologies of globalization which will make them not to be deprived from the new world.
